The AmScope T800 is a modern upright laboratory microscope with a dedicated photo port. As a set with a trinocular head and apochromatic objectives, it comes with a price tag of around € 2,000. Launched in 2023, the AmScope T800 has an infinity-corrected optical system and a standard magnification range of 40x to 1,000x. These features make it a versatile instrument equally suited for educational purposes and professional use in medical and research fields.

The photo port of the AmScope T800 is equipped with a 1x C-mount interface which is the ideal basis for our LMscope adapter solutions with built-in optics.
Our LM digital adapter systems are optimised for the sensor size of the respective camera, delivering the best image quality possible thanks to their integrated precision optical system. To connect a camera (preferably large-sensor cameras such as digital SLR or mirrorless system cameras) to the microscope, the LM adapter is inserted into the phototube of the microscope. Then, the camera is attached to the adapter. This process only requires a few easy steps and facilitates a secure connection with excellent optical quality.

Modern DSLR and single-lens mirrorless (DSLM) offer the latest technology and are generally very well suited for microscopy applications. Most of them can be controlled remotely via PC/Mac. Because of their high sales volumes, they offer an excellent price/performance ratio compared to special-purpose microscope cameras.
